Austin has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, starting his first “real” business in 2014 while in college at Indiana University. He started stump grinding in 2017 while in Indiana before joining the military. Austin served one contract in the US Army and afterwards decided to move to Blackfoot, ID, in hopes of being more involved in a smaller, local community, much like where he grew up in small-town Indiana. Part of that dream was to start a stump grinding company again in hopes of providing a beneficial service to residents, being accountable to community and neighbors, and pouring into and giving back to the people of southeastern Idaho.

Austin started grinding stumps back in 2017 before joining the military. He developed a passion for helping clients remove unsightly stumps and leaving it better than he found it. Throughout this endeavor he gained an appreciation for being face to face with clients, being accountable to his community, and building relationships within his local area.
There are certainly many different methods to remove an unsightly stump; however, none is as quick, efficient, or safe as grinding it out with a stump grinder.
